In the past few days, we have seen more and more people willing to publicly denigrate the idea that individual rights play an important role in the country’s response to COVID. Dr. Anthony Fauci Of course, at the forefront of this transformation.
When he appeared on MSNBC, he ignited the constitutional order very well, which he has become quite proficient in the past year and a half.

Then came the statement of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was talking to professionals and for some reason noticed COVID expert Alexander Vindman.
“Go to your freedom.”

Now, as a matter of principle, the content in these videos is an abomination. It is very dangerous to suggest that the government suspend freedom for any reason, let alone our current situation. Although some people tried to claim that the handling of smallpox during the War of Independence was correct evidence of current actions, the death rate of smallpox at that time was about 60% (And 30% of the overall). COVID-19 has been around 0.5% in the worst case. With the increase in vaccination and natural immunity, this number will only get lower and lower.
However, let us temporarily assume that COVID is indeed worthy of unfree and rights-damaging government actions to “protect” the people. Will the people who promote this idea stop and ask if their hysterical prescription is effective? Is mask enforcement effective? Is the blockade effective? Is the vaccine passport a viable strategy? Because when I look at relevant data in the real world, the answer seems pretty obvious.
For a long time, the comparison between North Dakota and South Dakota has instructive significance and is worth repeating, because these states still have the same trend.
𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗼𝘁𝗮 Very lucky to have those life-saving lockdowns, mask injunctions and business restrictions. Otherwise it will end like a reckless 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗼𝘁𝗮 without blockades, masks or commercial restrictions… pic.twitter.com/u9x7VBm92s

Please note that South Dakota has a larger population. Elderly population, When adjusted according to the show, they actually did a better job than North Dakota. But since the case is the cause of the current panic, I want to stick to this indicator. Remember, the idea being promoted is that masks somehow reduce transmission, so they are necessary. I see zero evidence from these figures in Dakota.
However, let us leave the United States for the time being, because I know that the rebuttal will be to authorize non-measurement of compliance. How about a country that has a 99% compliance rate for the general mask directive?

Back to the United States, let’s look at Oregon and Hawaii. These blue states have strict COVID mitigation measures, including statewide mask requirements. How are they?Well, you don’t know through media reports that it only has Obsessed with Florida, But this is not good.
There are people who want to know why even though the hospitalization rate is close to the high point of the pandemic, even if the vaccination rate is much higher than the average level, the media and the White House have almost zero interest in Oregon?
What is confusing is how they completely ignore it and focus only on Florida! pic.twitter.com/yjnB0wJ2Dg

86% of adults in Hawaii have received at least one vaccination, and active masks have been enforced for 479 days. The compliance has reached 98%. Hawaii announced today that they will re-enter the lockdown and implement measures such as capacity restrictions and alienation.

By the way, guess which state currently has the most severe COVID-19 outbreak? If you guessed Louisiana correctly, then you are right. What’s in Louisiana? -Mask missions. This seems to be a cautious message in judging whether we should “screw freedom”, right?
Then there are Texas and California, which is another comparison I made in my previous book. There are no mask regulations or lockdowns in Texas. Since the beginning of last year, California has been using them almost all the time. In the comparison of these two states, does the lack of correlation between mitigation and transmission still exist? In a word, yes.
Los Angeles Times: Due to masks and vaccination rates, “California is in a much better situation in the Delta than Florida and Texas.”
Reality: California and Texas have almost the same increase in hospitalization rates

Now, let me be clear. The choice to focus on cases (and to some extent hospitalization) rather than death in this article is purposeful. My personal view is that what matters is the result, not the case.
However, it is the people who have implemented drastic measures who insist on using cases as a barometer, because it is now convenient for their narratives. Because of this, it is important to show through data that their claims, especially the requirements for masks, are not based on real-world data at all. Even if there is a constitutional provision (not) to suppress the right to fight the virus, masks and blockades are not effective means to do so. On the contrary, wearing masks and blockades is a virtue, indicating nonsense, especially for those who force children.
In any case, rights do not need to be suppressed, because we, at least on the surface, still live in a free country. This is not Australia or Japan. With this in mind, Fauci and other like-minded people can jump into the lake.
