Review – When I showed my wife the Cyansky M3 EDC Titanium flashlight, she was not easily impressed with my gadget, and she was very surprised by the maximum brightness this small lamp produced. Will this be the last time flashlight Would you need it? Design and features
The Cyansky M3 EDC Titanium flashlight is made of titanium alloy, which is sturdy and durable, with anti-corrosion and rust-free surface treatment. One key to control all functions of the flashlight. There are four brightness levels and strobe. The button has a lock function to prevent the light from accidentally turning on in the pocket. More on that below.

Installation and setup
The battery of the Cyansky M3 EDC Titanium flashlight has a protective sheet. This is easy to remove when you unscrew the head cover. I charge the battery through the micro USB port on the battery. When charging, the red light on the positive electrode of the battery will light up. When the green LED in the same area lights up, it means the battery is fully charged. My battery must be fully charged at the factory because it takes about 30 minutes to see the green LED.

Test and observe
actual use
In my recent flashlight review, I have a unique flashlight need. I am training a 6-month-old Chihuahua in the yard. Seeing his “works” 20 feet away from our deck helped improve my quality of life. If the owner gets too close during the “birth” process, the puppy may be distracted, and the owner will be grumpy because of standing in the cold and humid yard. Therefore, if I have a light that is bright enough to allow me to see the “jingle flashes” in a dry place on the deck, I will be a happier pet owner. Yes, we will immediately deal with every “go” to strengthen the use of the yard.

change
Cyansky M3 has a power button no Feel it with your fingers. I have to attach the attached pocket clip next to the button so that in the dark I can sense where the switch is. The flashlight is used in the dark, right?
M3 accepts the widely used lithium non-rechargeable CR123 battery, which is great. They cost $5 to $6 at most retailers, but they have a long shelf life. If you shop online, you can buy cheap brand CR123 batteries. Especially check the manufacturer’s website, not just the retailer.
Operation
Double-click the power button in about one second, the flashlight LED will flash twice, indicating that the light is locked. This should/can prevent accidental “opening”. The same process unlocks the light.
Considering the position where the switch is almost flush with the light body, I think the Cyansky M3 EDC Titanium flashlight may not turn on accidentally in my pocket, but even if I locked the switch, I was surprised a few times. Almost every time I put the light in my pocket, I still lock the switch, but when I carry the M3 EDC, I need to be aware of the possibility of sudden overheating.
I work at a desk and feel hot with something in my pocket. When the M3 strobe, I lowered my head and could see the flash in my pocket. The heat caught my attention, but I turned off the light before the problem occurred.
Similarly, when the light is locked, it can be unlocked by double-clicking again, and the light will light up with the lowest output when unlocked.
Starting from “off”, press the button for one second to turn on the light. M3 always lights up at the lowest lumen setting. Once the light is on, a continuous short press of the button will gradually cycle through the brightness settings.
By pressing and holding the power button for two seconds, the strobe mode can be activated when the light is off or on. The strobe mode has a fast and slow alternate strobe mode. It flashes quickly for about two seconds, and then flashes at a slower strobe frequency for about two seconds, until you press the button for one second to “turn off”. Press quickly to adjust the light from the strobe light to the lowest lumen “on”. If you like strobe, alternate strobe rate is a good additional feature, you can check the project in the design.
It takes a while for me to remember that “off” is held for half a second. I have a few flashlights that operate like M3. But in a given week, I will use and carry all kinds of pocket flashlights. When the light is on, press the button once to enter the next brightness level. I prefer the quick button to turn off the light and long press to increase the brightness level.
Durability
The workmanship of Cyansky M3 is very solid. I can’t imagine that any force will damage the lamp during daily use.
manual

I have given up efforts to produce product manuals and instructions in readable font sizes. They almost never exist. I am cursed that I always need a magnifying glass to read. And I can drive without glasses! The Cyansky M3 manual may be 0.5 to 0.3 pounds or less. If you may be interested in the contents of the manual, please prepare a magnifying glass.
Pocket security
I immediately attached the wristband to the M3, thinking it would help me not loose it. I usually don’t like the lanyard, so I took it off a week later and the M3 never escaped my pocket. It is not heavy, but it has enough weight to fit in the pocket.
Daily utility? Tactical practicality?
Not long ago, I worked in the emergency medical services department and used a light that can be quickly accessed and activated. Think of “Quick Drawing”. It needs to have a high battery capacity to ensure that I have enough power to answer the call before I can charge.
For any and all users, the Cyansky M3 EDC titanium flashlight can be considered a good pocket spare light or auxiliary light. I think its size and function are not enough to make it the main light of public services, use in transactions, etc. It’s great around the house-it takes up very little pocket space, and once you find it you can make a lot of switches, or a little bit.

These photos show the lumen level from lowest to highest. The light on the shed is difficult to distinguish, so please check the light scattered on the grass. The brightness level is different in reality.
what do I like
- Convenient small size.
- The brightness options for such a small lamp are good.
- The rechargeability of the included lithium-ion battery.
- CR123 non-rechargeable batteries are also very suitable and work.
- The fit, finish and lumen level are all well executed.
What will i change
- The power switch should be “find” by feeling, without having to look at the flashlight.
- I prefer to short press the button to close and open, and long press to change the brightness mode.
- Make the description large enough to be easy to see.

Final thoughts
Given its size, is the price of the Cyansky M3 EDC titanium flashlight surprising? Things made of titanium tend to be more expensive. The lamp is sturdy and performs well at all the lumen levels I need. Despite the accidental pocket activation, I still recommend the Cyansky M3 EDC Titanium flashlight. You decide whether the price is appropriate.
