Dr. Kellyann’s Favorite Summer Smoothies


Green Goddess Smoothie

Preparation time: 5 minutes• yield: 1 copy

raw material:

  • 1 scoop vanilla bone broth protein
  • 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1 cup spinach, tightly packed
  • ½ avocado
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon, ground flaxseed, optional
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds, optional
  • ice, optional

route: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Optionally mix in a handful of ice cubes.

Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie

Preparation time: 5 minutes• yield: 1 copy

In a blender, combine water, canned coconut milk, raspberries, collagen powder, stevia (if using), and ice (if using). well mixed. Garnish with some raspberries if desired.

Lemon Cream Smoothie

Preparation time: 5 minutes• yield: 1 copy

raw material:

  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut (refrigerated) or almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons cream of coconut or 1⁄4 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 package Vanilla Collagen Smoothie or 1 scoop Vanilla Bone Broth Protein
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon natural lemon extract
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Ice, add to a blender or pour the shake over ice (optional)

Pour the liquid into the blender first, then add all the other ingredients. well mixed. Optionally, top with a little lemon zest.

notes: For a post-workout shake, coconut water is a great option.

Add-ons: To add even more nutrition to your shake, you can add 1 tablespoon of any of the following:

  • flax seeds Added fiber, protein, and omega-3s
  • chia seeds added fiber and protein
  • hemp seeds Adds Nutty Flavor and Protein
  • Green vegetables Such as spinach, kale, chard, parsley, etc.Add to Vitamins, Minerals and Fiber
