review – A few years ago, I reviewed several robot vacuums and they were amazing in their capabilities. I have continued to use them over the years but have also noticed that in many cases the floors are not properly vacuumed or mopped. Fast forward to today and I started testing and reviewing this Dreametech Bot W10 Wet and Dry Robotic Vacuum, which seems perfect for vacuuming and mopping, even wetting and cleaning your own mop. Is this too good to be true? Let’s see if it actually works.
What is it?
The Dreametech Bot W10 Wet and Dry Robot Sweeper offers 3 modes through the app – Vacuuming, Mopping and All-in-One Cleaning. It can sweep carpets, mop bathrooms or vacuum and mop hard floors. Ultrasonic carpet detection ensures that the W10 recognizes the carpet ahead of time and plans a route based on its current cleaning pattern. In vacuum mode, it automatically raises to maximum suction when it detects a carpet. In other modes, the W10 will detour around the carpets to avoid getting them wet. It targets, measures and maps.

This vacuum cleaner is mainly made of plastic. There’s a main hub that the vacuum slides into and attaches for charging, damping mops and self-cleaning. The vacuum is a standard robot vacuum with brush and mop connections underneath and a connection button on top.
Performance
Once I put the parts together it was very simple, the next set was to fully charge it. It has visible LEDs and audio charging communication.
After the device was charged, I downloaded the app, created an account, and added the Dreametech Bot W10 Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum. The caveat is that this device only connects to 2.4Ghz wifi, if you’re like me using multiple extenders around your house, you’ll have to disconnect them all so that the vacuum’s only option is to connect to your main wifi source modem/router. It also doesn’t seem to work with auto-negotiation. I have multiple extenders and multiple devices connected to each extender, so I actually bought an access point and split the 5Ghz/2.4Ghz bands so that the device could connect exclusively to the 2.4Ghz connection without trying Use auto-negotiation. This worked and everything has been fine since then. Here are some screenshots of the app:
The first task is to get the vacuum cleaner to map the area available for vacuuming. The app shows the process and progress, and the video shows the vacuum in action:

The vacuum lid opens to reveal the dust container and filter. You can also use the app to select suction levels and cleaning modes to tell it whether to clean/vacuum or mop and at what level.
Overall, this vacuum does a good job of cleaning/vacuuming and mopping. Self-cleaning is especially good because the vacuum can mop the floor, then go back and rinse and continue mopping if necessary.
The mapping process is simple, and as long as you take the time to move unnecessary objects out of the way, you’ll get a good clean coverage area. As I mentioned before, if you have a more complex network, you may have issues when you have to initially connect it to your network, however, since I successfully connected it, it didn’t lose connection once. My wife’s only negative comment was about not being able to add some type of cleaner to the tank for mopping. The instruction manual clearly states that doing so may damage the vacuum. She really likes the suction adjustment option, and of all the vacuums I’ve tested, this one does the best job, and it does it very well. I can also confirm that when mopping, the vacuum can distinguish between floor, tile and carpet so it doesn’t try to mop.

final thoughts
So, my conclusions are based on my observations, but more from my wife’s feedback as she uses the Dreametech Bot W10 Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum a lot. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, I’ve tested other models and liked them to some extent. My wife really likes this. She loves that it absorbs dirt really effectively. Some other models will skip some pieces and leave them behind. Whatever ordinary household dirt we throw on the ground represents, this vacuum will pick it up. The mop is also very clean and beautiful, and it self-cleans without dragging a dirty mop on any surface, which makes it a winner. well done.
