Thanks to Paramount Pictures Philippines for the invitation, I was one of the lucky ones who saw the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves movie last night during the Super Premium screening at the IMAX Cinemas at SM Megamall. We actually got the movie 2 weeks before everyone else, and on March 20-21, 2023, the rest of the country can watch it before its world premiere on March 29, 2023.
If you have played this RPG before, I think you will be satisfied with this movie. Many references and the best parts of the game are shown cinematically in the film.
Of course, there will be a backstory at first to set the tone, but that’s okay, every DnD game has its backstory every time.
When watching the movie, there are constant laughs and a good sense of humor. I have a lot of favorite scenes, but telling you about them would give you tons of spoilers, and I don’t want to do that. My recommendation is to watch the movie at its premium screening, the date I mentioned at the beginning of the post.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is rated PG by MTRCB, so bring your kids!
