largeThe Manila Light Rail Transit Corporation (LRMC), the private operator of RT-1, has released its 2023 Holy Week schedule, suspending LRT-1 operations from April 6 (Holy Thursday) to April 9, 2023 (Easter Sunday), to give way to its annual maintenance activities and necessary system upgrades.
LRT-1 will operate on normal operating schedule April 3-5, 2023 (Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday), with the first departure from Baclarand and Roosevelt at 4:30am and the last departure at 10:00pm 00 from Baclaran and 10:15 PM from Roosevelt.
“LRT-1 is temporarily out of service this Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday, which will allow us to carry out necessary activities, including annual preventive maintenance work and upgrades, to better serve our dear passengers. This is based on Our commitment to provide commuters on the LRT-1 with a safe, secure and convenient journey. We advise the public to plan their travel well in advance,” said Rolando J. Paulino III, LRMC Chief Operating Officer.
LRT-1 from Baclaran to Roosevelt station will resume normal operation on Monday, April 10.
