Many games have so-called “God Mode” as part of their code. In short, this mode leaves players invincible. God Mode Explained
In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, God Mode commands essentially give your character unlimited health. However, if you’re playing a friendly match with no stakes attached, enabling the God Mode command is worth trying at least once. You can turn things around on a friend you’re up against, or trigger invincibility for training purposes. Instead of worrying about enemy fire draining your health, you can focus on other aspects of the game.
Using the CS:GO cheat console
God Mode is just one of them huge numbers The CS:GO cheats you use. However, to enable them, you first need to open the developer console. To do this, head to the game settings and find the “Enable Developer Console” option. You can enable the cheat console at any time by clicking “Yes” below.
You also need to enable cheats before using any commands. To enable cheats, simply type “sv_cheats 1” in the developer console window. With the developer console open and cheats enabled, just type “god” to use god mode. Once you’ve had invincible fun in the game, you can disable cheats by typing “God” again.
More cheat commands worth trying
Activating God Mode is sure to be fun, but the novelty eventually wears off. Thankfully, there are plenty of alternative cheat modes worth trying.
Tired of running out of bullets in the game? You can enjoy unlimited ammo with two different cheat codes. Typing “sv_infinite_ammo 1” will disable weapon reloading, meaning you will never encounter an empty magazine. Typing “sv_infinite_ammo 2” also gives you bottomless bullets, but still retains the reload mechanism of your equipped weapon.
Having trouble imagining bullet trajectories and impact locations? Entering “sv_showimpacts 1” is worth trying if you want to get a clearer picture of where your shots land. Typing “sv_showimpacts 10” will prolong the display of these bullet impacts.
If you need some practice with your full arsenal in CS:GO, the “Give Arms” cheat code is the answer to your prayers. To activate this cheat, just type “give weapon_”. After the underscore, you need to write the name of the weapon you want to play with. After entering the code, your in-game avatar will automatically be equipped with the weapon of your choice.
