Review – I reviewed last January Be flexible Standing desk, I really like it, but my son thinks he needs it, so I gave it to him. Same thing too. That table is difficult to keep clean, and I am a lazy person, so this is not a good choice for me.Then last month I reviewed Flexispot Sit2Go fitness chair If you read this article, you will know that it works best with an adjustable desk, so Flexispot kindly sent me the Esben standing desk UD4. Design and features
The Flexispot Esben UD4 standing desk was quickly delivered via FedEx. After I dragged it in, I asked my son to start unpacking and assembling parts. The table top is pre-assembled, so in most cases, all you need to do is connect the legs and feet, plug in the power supply and glue it to the table, and then tilt it up.It took about 10 minutes to piece it together, if you are confused, you can use the video Flexible website This shows the assembly.

The Esben series of adjustable desks are white with light-colored simulated maple tops (similar to Formica), bringing a clean and bright appearance to your office space. I appreciate the fact that I can wipe it clean without any fingerprints. This is a problem I encountered on the Comhar desk. The UD 4 version also has a simulated wooden table bottom with two large drawers in between. The drawer did not extend to the back of the table, which left a lip about an inch thick at the back where I could clamp my monitor arm, which left me more desk space. If you want a more traditional monitor stand, you can attach a coordinated maple stand to the back of the table, which is an optional accessory.

The drawers of Flexispot Esben UD4 are very spacious (approximately 12 inches x 20 inches), I think they are not as deep as a table, because when the drawers are too deep (like the drawers when I work), they become a bit like a no-man’s land. Everything works there. If you need extra drawer space, Flexispot sells many rolling drawer sets that can be coordinated with the desk on their website. I made do with my cart around the house to keep my leftover table clutter. I think I will never have enough drawers.

In front of the table under the right drawer is a small control panel with arrows that allows you to raise and lower the table. The monitor shows the number of inches the table is set up, starting from 50 inches, I guess this is for a very tall person, because it is my chest height, as low as 29.5 inches, which is too low, I think I can sit Floor and type above. There is an anti-collision system on this model, if you accidentally have something under the table when you put it down, it can prevent it from crushing anything. The panel also has four numbered buttons to save settings in case you want to move between multiple heights, or if multiple people in a family use the table.

On the side of the Esben are three USB ports and a blue indicator light to indicate whether they are receiving power. I don’t know why you need the light, but the front panel display turns off after a while, so the light tells you that the table is plugged in. I don’t find myself plugging and unplugging the table, so if I did it my way, I would replace that light with another USB port (this is another thing I’ll never have), but I think it’s A small problem. Two of the ports are USB-A and one is USB-C. I like to put these ports aside because the wires look messy.
Flexispot Esben UD4 has discs under the legs to protect the floor from metal brackets, but if you want Esben to be more mobile, you can buy casters on the Flexispot website. The leg support is very stable, and I never feel the table is tilted, even if it is in the highest position.
This table goes well with their hybrid chair loop under the table, as I recently reviewed, Sit2go Or under their vibrating board series or desktop treadmill. I like the way Flexispot creates a one-stop shop for standing desks and fitness, because I think this is one of the important reasons people buy standing desks-because they want to do more activities in their lives.

One caveat about this type of standing desk: they don’t have humble panels or anything that can hide the clutter of wires, which is what I suffered. If these desks have built-in power strips, I would like it because the computer cables, monitor cables, phone chargers, desk cables, and various other things I plugged in around me under my desk are all messed up. I tried to hide it with some white cord sets to help the cord blend with the wall, but when each cord is black and it must be inserted under your desk, there is only so much you can do. If there is a power strip on the back of the Flexispot Esben UD4 standing desk, and maybe a white power cord, I can better hide my shame on the power cord.

what do I like
- Easy to keep clean
- The USB port is on the side instead of the front
- Drawer to store my things
What I want to change is:
- How about the power board so that I don’t have ugly wires?
Final thoughts
I really like my Flexispot Esben UD4 standing desk, I use it every day.
