Those of you who have used SwingTradeBot for a few years may remember when The last time I announced Portfolio Sync was in 2018. Unfortunately, the service I was using went out of business in 2020, so portfolio sync stopped working. I was very disappointed when the service disappeared, as the automatic sync is a great way to see SwingTradeBot’s latest analysis of your current holdings.

Well, I’m happy to announce Portfolio sync is back! this time by instant transaction / Passive. Unlike previous service providers, this one actually has a business model – they charge actual fees for their services. 🙂 (and They are backed by Y Combinator) which means two things:

  • I trust they will keep their word (unlike previous providers) and Keep adding more brokers.
  • These days Only paid SwingTradeBot members can take advantage of Portfolio Sync.

Just started Visit one of your portfolios and click the “Connect to Broker” button.

On the next page click the “Connect via SnapTrade” button. This will take you to SnapTrade’s website where you can give them access to retrieve your brokerage holdings.

Once you’re done granting permissions, just click the “Back to SwingTradeBot” button and you should see your newly synced portfolio in your portfolio list.

Portfolio will be automatically synced twice a day But there is also a “Sync Now” button on each synced portfolio that you can click to sync immediately.
