Germans win medals on canoe

secondEbastian Brendel (ebastian Brendel) and Olympic rookie Tim Hecker (Tim Hecker) won the first medal for the German canoe player in two bronze medals in Canada. However, for the duo from Potsdam and Berlin on Tuesday, the distance of more than 1,000 meters is not enough for the gold medal hoped for.

On Tokyo’s Maritime Forest Route, 33-year-old Brundle and his 23-year-old new partner Heck had to give way to Cubans Sergey Torres Madrigal and Fernando Dayan Jorge Enrique Sri Lanka and China’s world champions Liu Hao and Zhen Pengfei.

The best time to run

In the final round of the competition, Brendel and Hecker achieved the best results in the Olympic Games as quickly as possible. The high temperature and breeze of about 30 degrees Celsius is not enough, even if the German team reappears in the final sprint.

Brundle has another chance to win a medal in Tokyo-the third gold medal in this regard by the London and Rio Olympic champions will be a historic achievement. Blundell was the most popular at first. The preliminaries will start on Friday and the medals will be awarded on Saturday.
