A passenger who flew from Atlanta to Anchorage, Alaska, said she “thinked that their flight was delayed, and more and more people started running,” she told CNN“Someone screamed, and then someone stopped and said,’There is a shooter, you have to go.'”
At the time of the incident, airlines were preparing for the busiest period before the pandemic.
“We anticipate that this holiday trip may be very close to the pre-pandemic level, and we have staffed and prepared holiday travelers,” said TSA administrator David Pekoske (David Pekoske).
