Ingredients for ham kimchi rolls
This section explains how to choose the best ingredients for ham, cream cheese, and kimchi rolls, the role of each ingredient in the recipe, and alternative options. For measurement, please refer to the recipe card below.
- Cream cheese – I used pure cream cheese, but you can also use salty ones, such as garlic herb. Non-dairy cream cheese is also suitable for non-dairy options.
- Ham – Choose ham slices thick enough to avoid tearing but thin enough to roll up. I recommend buying products that do not add nitrate or nitrite. You can also exchange it with other deli meats (such as turkey).
- Dill pickle – Choose a size similar to the width of the ham slice. I used the whole kimchi, but the kimchi spear also works well.
- Green onions – Feel free to skip these, but I like the added flavor and crunch. You can also use fresh leeks instead.
