Today, the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden, is 79 years old. Some people might argue that his age now reflects his IQ. Those people are not fair. It is possible that they have not seen his career in Washington for more than 40 years before knowing that it has been in this neighborhood.
Go to figure it out.
However, this is the 79th of the 46th president, and CBS News There is a vanilla ice cream post about it of the day.
Joe Biden became the oldest person in the White House when he took office earlier this year. He is now the first president ever to be 79 years old during his tenure.
Mr. Biden was born on November 20, 1942, his birthday is Saturday.
The day before his birthday, the President had a routine medical examination, so he entered his birthday weekend with a colonoscopy and routine medical examination. White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor wrote in a memo that Mr. Biden “is still a healthy and energetic 78-year-old man suitable for the successful fulfillment of presidential duties.”
In addition to the physical analysis of Dr. O’Connor, it may be time for Uncle Joe to take a moment to think about his day as president. I know this may seem cruel, because this is the day to celebrate the birth of a child from Scranton, but let’s think about this country.
As my colleague Joe Cunningham Written here yesterday (Joe Biden is really making history), Joe is making history for all the wrong reasons.
It has been almost a year since Joe Biden took office. One year after being elected. A year ago, he controlled one of the biggest economic crises in history. The year since he started presiding over the worst epidemic in history. It has been a year since the election of the oldest president in history and the first elected female and black vice president in history.
The United States was promised to return to normal. The era of mean tweets is over, and the differences between us are ending. Our lives will return to normal.
Fast forward one year, everything we have is not normal. The Democrats’ differences have widened to the point where even their own parties cannot agree on major policies. Harmful tweets from Trump have disappeared, replaced by cheap, divisive snipers from all directions. Republicans are excluded from this process in many ways. If marginal progressives act in their own way, even on issues such as bipartisan infrastructure bills, Republicans will not have a place on the negotiating table.
But it’s not just Republicans that they don’t want to work with. The government tracked down their parents, and if they dared to question public education, they would label them as potential terrorists. They labelled those who defeated them in Virginia as “racist” and made any dissatisfaction among voters out of legitimacy.
Cunningham just touched on some of the most popular headaches, which was done by the most experienced White House host in history in less than a year.
What was very clear during last year’s election campaign was that those around Joe Biden knew that he was no longer at his peak, and that this situation continued into the presidency. He needs to be protected and cared for in a way that no other modern president has ever had. The simplest example is how Jen Psaki and the communication staff kept clearing Biden’s meaning after he got close enough to the microphone.
Compare this to his predecessor, who is willing to confuse it with the media and will prioritize his employees to contact them. Donald Trump will hold a comprehensive press conference, heading towards Marine One. If Joe Biden tries to do anything close to this, Psaki will have to scream “It’s on fire!” and have the Secret Service evacuate Biden to a safe place away from reporters.
This country is entering some uncertain period, at this time we need some kind of competent leadership. Now I don’t necessarily support Kamala Harris as that competent choice, but she can string together a sentence with an annoying giggle. If there is a red wave in the middle of next year, at least the new Republican majority will be able to communicate with the CEO without having to talk about ice cream to start any conversation.
Joe Biden realized his dream of becoming president. On his 79th birthday, he should start thinking about stepping down and doing something good for the country. Go home, Mr. President, with some complete dignity. Start planning the presidential library and make sure to have the coolest ice cream shop inside.
Literally, this would be the only reason to visit it.
