However, Carol told University restoration She insists on gender differences:
“We can be concerned about and sensitive to everyone’s needs and identities, while also insisting on biological reality. When I think it may have some positive impact on science education and ultimately human prosperity, I will continue to speak out.”
“Some of the topics I teach are sensitive and controversial, such as our reproductive biology, the relationship between hormones and sex and gender, and the biological basis of gender behavior differences,” she wrote in an email to the media .
“As a graduate student, when I encounter new ideas, I sometimes get very angry and frustrated, especially those that are personally related… But I have to learn how to put my emotions aside and analyze the evidence calmly. It’s not easy, but learning how to do this finally empowered me and helped me become a clearer thinker and a better scientist.
