As one of the leading technology companies in the Turkish defense industry, HAVELSAN signed many new agreements during IDEF’21 to expand cooperation with well-known companies in the Turkish industry through a series of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU).
HAVELSAN is preparing to provide advanced technologies in the following areas for platforms developed by Nurol Makine, Katmerciler, Otokar and Tümosan:
- Integrate HAVELSAN’s DOOB/HARBIYE-tactical command and control information system into intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance systems;
- Use HAVELSAN’s KASK system on the platform to continue to generate position data and perform tasks in the event of interference,
- Integrate HAVELSAN CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) products to respond to CBRN threats and hazards.
On the other hand, HAVELSAN is willing to develop a series of software for intelligent reconnaissance, patrol security, port/military base security, mine clearance, submarine detection and surface/underwater combat missions for the unmanned surface vessel developed by YONCA ONUK shipyard. HAVELSAN is preparing to integrate the unmanned surface vehicle into the ADVENT combat management system to equip it with the ability to operate with the floating/ground command and control station and perform network-supported joint missions.
Thanks to these agreements and cooperation vision, HAVELSAN will not only take the first step towards new technologies and new markets, but will also strengthen its influence in existing markets.
