Splurge on holiday gifts
My gift guide for under $100 will be online early next week, but today I want to share some holiday gift ideas worth splurging on. These are gifts of more than $100, most of which I have given or received over the years. I will not buy a large number of holiday gifts over $100 (except for family/parents), but if you have items you want to splurge, I will put this list together. These are also great for group gifts (we often make them with brothers and sisters), or you might just want to treat yourself! We (yet) don’t have one of them, but my dad does. It’s definitely worth the hype. These amazing fire pits are designed to burn efficiently without smoking. I like to sit by the fire outside, even in winter, but I don’t like to smell like a campfire next week. This is a good solution, and it is not overweight, so it is easy to move.

Last year we gave our grandparents a digital photo frame, which was a huge success. This is easy to set up, and there are several different styles. You can invite unlimited people to share images, which is no good, so brothers and sisters (for example) can share photos with grandparents, and the photos will pop up in frames. This half-zip sweater from Sézane is simply a dream. It is a blend of merino wool and organic cotton, with beautiful knitting details. I ordered this for myself during the holidays because it is easy to dress up, but I will also wear it all winter. I usually wear a Sézane sweater size, this one I chose a small size. If you are looking for something without wool, This organic cotton striped sweater is beautiful.

There is a little learning curve to use it, but once you get the hang of it, the pizza you can make at home is very good. They make gas powered stoves and wood pellet stoves.

I gave this to a few people last year and it was very popular! It currently sells for less than $100, but this is my honest opinion. This is a great pan for many things, but it does have limitations. You cannot use it at very high temperatures, otherwise it will destroy the pain and cannot be placed in the oven. We often use it for stir-fry, curry and eggs.

We are preparing a Christmas gift for Marin and decided to use this cute wooden mini game kitchen by Etsy. It has amazing reviews and I heard from the people who bought it that it is easy to assemble. The parents also said that this is the most commonly used toy in their family for many years. Hope we do too!

7AM stroller foot cover
This stroller foot cover is definitely a savior in cold weather. Regardless of the weather, we take a lot of walks, and Marin keeps her absolutely dry. We have BOB strollers in Vermont, which are very suitable. It comes in a variety of colors and has an adjustable zipper length extension that can grow with your baby or toddler.

I gave it to Craig and my mom as a gift, and it was very popular. For anyone dealing with a lot of muscle soreness or stiffness, this is a completely game changer. It’s a bit like a torture device, because it’s a bit painful to use, but there are incredible rewards afterwards.
