In this meeting, from 2020 Government Communications Festival, We listened to Brian Solis, Salesforce’s global chief evangelist.

Brian discussed how huge changes have taken place in society with the rise of personal computers, the Internet, social media, and smartphones.

According to the sixth edition, Brian talked about the top priority of marketers Salesforce marketing research status report. The three priorities identified by Brian are: First, comply with privacy regulations. Second, recruit and train talents. Third, real-time innovation and customer attraction (tied).

Subsequently, Brian introduced the main challenges faced by marketers and explained why he believes that “attracting customers in real time” is the biggest challenge.

Brian explores how communications are democratized and forced to become less hierarchical due to the Internet. He also explained why it is important to re-understand who our voters are becoming and where they are going.

According to Bryan, there are differences in participation between representatives and citizens. Communications professionals must use touchpoints where citizens participate online. The communicator needs to understand where voters operate online.
