Homemade fish milk is a great way to upgrade fish scraps (or all of your catch) into effective vegetable fish fertilizer.

How to make fish milk fat

Fish milk is a good fertilizer for many garden vegetables and other plants. Its NPK ratio is about 5-2-2, plus the additional benefits of micronutrients.

Store-bought fish milk Made from by-products of fish used for other purposes, such as making fish oil or canned fish. Using fresh fish with all parts intact should be better than commercial fish fat.

Mix whole fish or minced fish with organic matter to make a rich fish emulsified fertilizer.  (Growth Network)

You can make fish milk fat at home bucket——Or if you have a lot of fish, you can put them in several buckets. I have done this with the scraps left over from cleaning the caught fish, but it also applies to the whole fish.

  1. Fill the bucket with about 2/3 of the bucket by layering fish scraps and brown organic matter (such as fallen leaves) in equal parts.Please add if you like Molasses And seaweed get more nutrients in the lotion.
  2. Fill the bucket with water to cover all materials. Cover the lid and avoid direct sunlight.
  3. Stir the mixture every few days for a few weeks before it is ready to use.
  4. Pour out the water and catch it with another bucket-this is your fish milk.You can use the remaining fish scraps and fallen leaves to brew another batch, or put them in a compost pile or Worm Box.
  5. To use fish emulsion fertilizer, please dilute with water. Use about one cup of lotion with one gallon of water. The diluent can be poured on garden soil or sprayed on leaves.
