Don’t go to a large hardware store to buy the next gardening hoe. Follow my recommendations to buy an old-fashioned hoe to provide your dime with higher quality and durability.

Need a quality gardening hoe? Use this trick!
Really, this is not a trick, because eBay has always existed. But it has become my go-to source for the best quality gardening hoes and other excellent old-fashioned tools.
Long live eBay
Take a look at my recent two old hoes’ achievements:
Sweet, eh?
You often find a lot Great garden hoe on eBay. (I actually refuse to publish this article because I want to buy every old hoe for myself to add to my collection Essential garden hand tools, But no… I am generous. )
Old school is cool
The old steel on these heads is much better than the new trash you get from the hardware store.seriously—It’s amazing. Put a sharp blade on an old hoe and it will cut weeds like a knife. The new hoe will not “cut it”.
The two lists I won will be installed on the new controller. The “potato hoe” style works well in the hard clay here.
I posted a video about my favorite old-fashioned garden hoe, so you can see how great an old tool is:
The tools in the video changed my view of hoes. I just didn’t know what a real weeding tool was like until I got a good American steel gardening hoe to work for me.
A new handle… Look!
Half of the time, the cost of an old-fashioned garden hoe is the same as the cost of an inferior new hoe from China…or even lower! I used a mop handle on one of my best quality garden hoes and it worked well. Some of my others are reprocessed here by a local farmer, who cuts wild coffee wood into strong handles. Those look really cool and work very well.

What do you think?
So go out hunting! In addition to eBay, I also recommend courtyard sales. Look for real old hoes, their heads are a solid piece, not several pieces welded together.
