RedState has been covering The Kyle Rittenhouse case has been thorough in the past few days, but today may prove to be the most shocking moment so far. Kyle Rittenhouse (Kyle Rittenhouse) appeared in court today to testify for his defense, which was an unanticipated and risky move.
The guess is that the defensive team is unlikely to give orders in this move, leading some people to believe that Rittenhouse insisted on his testimony. But now that editing is starting to appear, I do think this is part of a coordinated strategy that puts this experiment on hold.
Rittenhouse was a witness for the defense, so his lawyer first questioned him. The young man burst into tears as he described what happened that night.

This is Johnathan Turley’s analysis, which seems to be in line with the view that this is a planned move, rather than Rittenhouse’s own mutiny against his lawyer at the last second.
…The prosecution witness imploded earlier. It is tempting to minimize the risk instead of letting Rittenhouse stand on the ground. However, if you want to be acquitted, such a move may leave jurors with lingering doubts…

After Rittenhouse collapsed, the judge announced an adjournment, and we are still waiting to see what the prosecutor does.Given how So far, their case is too bad, You can bet that they will do their best to seize this last opportunity. But if they end up making Rittenhouse seem more sympathetic to the jury, it might backfire.
In any case, I think it is obvious that 1) the evidence supports the claim of self-defense and 2) Rittenhouse is not a vicious white supremacist who has murdered. He drove 20 minutes from his hometown to Kenosha that night. He was obviously affected by what happened and had no intention of killing anyone.
Whether he “should not be there” is the general view of his critics and it doesn’t matter. We should not send people to prison to study non-criminal courses, and this standard does not apply to anything else. This is a developing story. Once the prosecution’s inquiry is over, RedState will provide the latest news there.
