With a population of more than 1.3 billion, India accounts for almost one-fifth of the world’s population, so it faces ongoing challenges in providing sufficient water for residential and industrial consumption. The Indian government’s public policy think tank NITI Aayog predicts that by 2030, the country’s water supply will only meet half of its demand.
Designed for facilities such as hotels, hospitals, factories and high-rise residential buildings, WEGoT monitors water supply system based on Aqua IoT solution Track detailed consumption data with high-precision ultrasonic sensors that measure water flow, pressure and quality, and transmit the data to the property manager’s dashboard and smartphone in real time. WEGoT was launched in 2015. According to calculations, its system has saved more than 3 billion liters of water in more than 30,000 homes and 40 million square feet of commercial space.
