The headline above: “Is Michigan ready to vote to eliminate Gretchen Whitmer next year?” I know this is a relatively simple question, but it is not easy for me to answer.
Some of my fellow Michigan State may now be ashamed of assuming that Whitmer will win again in the disaster of his first term of nearly 3 years old. Well, my friends, this is the only red you will see in this blue state.
Michigan is not a dark blue state, but a state that sometimes has a purple trend. For those of you who just look at the map of the west side of the state and then look all red to the north, you are right. During each election, most of Michigan’s 83 counties are red.
The problem comes when you find that the reason people flock to the “North” is because there are not as many people there as we are in the Detroit subway. Wayne County, Oakland County, and Macomb County are the places that determine the state’s elections. If you remember, in 2016, President Donald Trump only Less than 11,000 votesThis is due to the power of Macomb’s blue-collar cross-voting.
If you still doubt me, please explain how Debbie Stabenow has been a Michigan State Senator since 2001?contact me [email protected] Use all your theories or explanations, because I like to hear people’s voices.
However, everything is not blue-we sometimes become purple, and next year we do have a chance to do so again, the current governor of this state will be re-elected. Her record alone should reduce her chances, but it is not enough.
There are too many questions about how to conduct elections under the COVID-19 change of rules in 2020, and they need to be resolved to ensure that we have the best and safest elections.
In addition, the Michigan Republican Party sometimes seems more willing to raise funds and promote the next cohort, rather than actually giving way and letting candidates solve the problem themselves. This approach tends to alienate the foundations of the Republican Party and produces lackluster results.
With only 16 months left before the general election in November 2022, the competition for Whitmer to step down is about to heat up. Currently, there are seven candidates running for the Republican Party, the most famous of whom is a gentleman named Garrett Soldano. He established a huge Facebook presence during the Whitmer blockade last year, and his original group approached nearly 500,000 followers until the Facebook Zuck group. The group he currently has– Michigan needs adjustment -Has more than 80k and a steady stream of news posts about the state.
Also this week, there were rumors that former Detroit police chief James Craig would announce his intention to seek a nod from the Republican Party to the governor, adding another name to the expanding crowd.
I am no longer a licensed Republican, and there are several reasons why I will not bore you here. However, I do hope to see a debate on how this country can move forward after the disaster that Ms. FIX THE DAMN ROADS became a SINK THE DAMN STATE gal within 3 years. These people vying for the opportunity to represent the Republican Party are the beginning of much-needed discussions and debates.
There needs to be a discussion to figure out what this state has gone through and how to actually resolve it. This means that in many debates and public forums, ordinary citizens will be able to listen and express their views. This type of process is never easy and painful, but if you want a bright future in Great Huzhou, this is the beginning of the hard work of repairing broken things.
When these discussions and activities are completed, voters will vote 13 months later, in August 2022, to decide who will confront Whitmer. Will the party unite? In the past, when the rumors of backdoor deals and cheap attacks were still fresh in the memory of those who were loyal to other unwinning candidates, they stayed at home during the November campaign.
If this happens, Greg can easily achieve a frustrating victory even if the disaster that she caused is still fresh.
This brings me back to the original reason for this article.
Are the voters here and the voters of the Michigan Republican Party ready to accept a difficult and fair process for the people of the state to decide who will fight the 49th governor of the state and possibly become the 50th governor?
I have my doubts, but I also hope that this time I will be proven wrong.
Let the game begin, but remember who the real opponent is.
Lock down your state while violating your own rules and kill people at your job and business while still getting paid.
