yesterday, I reported a leaked call Between Joe Biden and Afghanistan (former) President Ashraf Ghani. Reuters obtained the transcript and audio of the call on July 23. Biden allegedly told Ghani that he must publicly express his “view” that the struggle with the Taliban is going well, “regardless of whether this is true or not.”
Biden said: “I don’t need to tell you that the perception around the world and parts of Afghanistan is that the fight against the Taliban is not going well.” “And there is a need, whether it is true or not, a different picture needs to be projected.”
During the call, the Taliban controlled about half of the regional centers in Afghanistan. According to Reuters, Biden urged Ghani to hold a press conference with other prominent Afghan leaders to outline a new military strategy, which he believes will “change the mindset, and I think it will change a lot.”
So remember, this is the same Biden. He publicly told the Americans in July that the Taliban would not take over the country. Later, he said to us that “no one said” the Taliban would take over. However, he seems to know how bad the situation is behind the scenes and tries to get Gani to say something to cover up this, even if it is not true. Just like Joe Biden did to us.
Most importantly, if he wants to use the funds from the Department of Defense to reduce the number of troops to less than 2,000, Joe Biden Have a legal obligation to inform Congress The dangers of ISIS, the Taliban, Al Qaeda, the risk of terrorist expansion, and the capabilities of the Afghan security forces. He did reduce the troops, but then he gave up his authorization to notify Congress, so he didn’t tell them how bad the situation was.
So he lied in front of us, boasted about his legal briefing requirements, and tried to get Gani to basically do what he was doing and say something private. Can we still speak of impeachment?
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked about leaked phone calls, and she did her best to run as fast as possible.
Reporter: “Did the president promote false narratives in any way during that call?”

Reporter: “Did the president promote false narratives in any way during that call?”
PSAKI: “I will not go into the details of private conversations, but what we have seen in the past few months is the collapse of leadership. This happened even before Ghani left the country. The president repeatedly communicated privately and publicly. The thing is, you need to stand up and lead your country. This is what he said at a press conference in a public forum in July.”
“Private conversation?” How is this “private conversation”? This is a call from a leader to a leader that we have every right to know, especially because of the importance of national security and the safety of Americans. Why doesn’t she just say that she doesn’t think we have the right to ask reasonable questions about anything? Because this is basically what she wants to say. What is even more offensive and thought-provoking is that she went on to quote Joe Biden’s concealing from us at the press conference that the Taliban is unlikely to take over the country.
However, it is strange that when it comes to the leaked phone calls between President Donald Trump and the President of Ukraine, Psaki did not talk about “private conversations.” Then, we understand that all of this is very important. Not so much now, when Biden is blamed for losing a country, Americans and allies.
Psaki said that she “will not enter… the leaked call log”.
Is this the new standard now? Because I seem to remember that there was a different standard last year…
