As we reported yesterdayOn Thursday afternoon, President Joe Biden delivered a selfish speech, which was a very dark day for the United States and its allies in Afghanistan. Suicide bombing After leaving, the final statistics showed that 13 US military personnel and 79 Afghans were killed, and dozens of others were injured.
He made excuses for the bad decision. Without good excuses, he declared that he was responsible for the above-mentioned decision. At the same time, he turned around and tried to blame the terrible defeat in our armed forces on former President Trump for nearly 20 years.
When he answered questions from the White House press corps (rarely for him), Biden revealed He has a list of reporters “instructed” to visit.
However, despite Biden’s bad news conference, the situation got worse shortly after press secretary Jen Psaki took the stage to answer questions, and many, if not all, were about Afghanistan.
At some point in the briefing, Psaki was asked about Biden’s feelings and his “mood”, as new information about the Afghan attack continued to emerge throughout the day.
Remember, shortly after Biden failed to make any guarantees as to whether the situation in Afghanistan will improve, Psaki’s response implied that it might actually be possible. Worse days During Biden’s presidency.
This is Change Context between reporter and Psaki (emphasized in bold):
reporter: “By the way, you said you were with him. How is he? How is he feeling? How does he deal with all this—handling incoming information? How does he ask the military commander (inaudible)? “
Psaki: “Well, I want to say that anyone who observes the president up close, including most of you, knows-putting the lives of soldiers at risk, and the decisions that must be made as commander-in-chief, heavy The ground fell on him. As I pointed out a few minutes ago, any day of loss of military personnel may be the worst day of your presidency, and hopefully there will not be more. But at this point in time, we are definitely in the early stages of the presidency.“

My guess is that Psaki may want to say something more optimistic, such as better days in the future, but this is not the case. The end result may be that she served as Biden’s press secretary in his 20th year as President.
To defend her, maybe she said this for a reason:
Before the press conference, Jen Psaki was watching this and drinking tequila directly from the bottle.

I mean, can you blame her? If I had to be Joe Biden’s spokesperson, I would probably say the quiet part out loud occasionally.
