He did not defend his country, nor did he let our allies stand on fire. Instead, he went with the flow and chose to cite their repression as an authoritative view of the United States last night.

Now, does this really happen? Probably not, because Biden is notorious for making things up, but for the sake of discussion, we will agree with it because I think there is a bigger point of view here.
The United States does not need to prove anything to a group of low-rent European countries that cannot even afford its own defense. Of course, we don’t need to prove our worth to countries that have given up basic civil rights (including freedom of speech). Finally, if any ally in the G7 needs to question their loyalty and ability, it is Germany. Although this is a huge security issue for Europe, it has just completed the final touches of its pipeline with Russia.
For decades, France, Germany, and other countries have relied on the United States to turn around, provide them with bags of cash, and protect them from the enemies they choose to support, whether it is Iran, Russia or China. These G7 countries are not good allies to protect the interests of those who protect them, but spit on us, pretending that we are somehow inferior to their European way of life.
For an American president, agreeing to this approach is very disgusting. How about Biden asking when Germany “united” instead of affirming their criticism? Maybe you ask France why they can’t make NATO commitments? Maybe pressure the United Kingdom, why can’t they stand with us against China? These countries exist because we have made sacrifices for them and will continue to sacrifice for them. Let them know that this will be a very pro-American thing. But Biden did the opposite, because he was essentially anti-American as always.
