What did Biden do the worst? Obviously, Afghanistan is now a huge drag for him. In all these polls, the vast majority of people disagree with his handling of the withdrawal. But the most important thing is that he previously approved the COVID firewall. Although he has been above the water in the past, especially because of his handling of COVID, now he often falls below 50% at this point. Add in that most people attribute the current inflation to his influence on the middle class, and you will know how his overall approval rating has fallen.
So where will Biden go? I don’t think he goes anywhere. There is no reason to believe that his downfall is coming to an end. When the president’s recognition drops into their 40s, they usually languish. Remember, this is a president who has no natural basis other than possibly being an African American. Many people who voted for him were trying to compromise because they didn’t like Donald Trump.
