Last weekend, as the Taliban continued to try to obtain concessions from the State Department, it became clear that Americans were deprived of the ability to leave Afghanistan. When some people in the media decide to play with semantics and defend the terrorist government, what normal people call it is a hostage situation.
Of course, unless you go to a prestigious university and work for the Biden government, what happens is not unexpected. As i wrote a few weeks ago, When the Taliban announced that they would give orders before the evacuation deadline, a hostage crisis was inevitable. Abandoning the Americans behind enemy lines, a deal was reached.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden Still on vacation. So what is he going to do? Well, when he has not been at his home in Delaware countless times since he took office, he has made public appearances… handing out sandwiches and “selfies” to union workers.

Honestly, this is infuriating. It’s one thing to be commander-in-chief and mess up, admit, and work to solve the problem. Pretending that nothing happened, everything is fine, which is another matter. Since the hostage incident came to light, Joe Biden has not answered any questions. The Taliban did not allow nearly 12 planes carrying more than 100 Americans to leave Afghanistan.
His State Department has always downplayed this, claiming that they are powerless, as if they are not taking any responsibility. The president is handing out sandwiches to the labor force and is elated for selfies. This is a disturbing disconnect. Considering what is happening, why is Biden even in Delaware now? Shouldn’t he manage things in the White House and acknowledge the crisis he caused?
The media is of no avail. Instead of holding the president accountable, they blocked almost all reports of what was happening. If this happens on Donald Trump’s watch, negative reports will be repeated within 24 hours. “Cruel is the point”, they will scream in their six-person analyst team. In addition, when the Americans are left behind, impeachment will become a topic in the town.
Washington has many double standards that make ordinary people want to pull their hair. But I believe this is the worst example. Americans are really in danger, trapped in the airport, unable to leave a country ruled by terrorists because the government has failed. The President of the United States can laugh at it when taking selfies, not only avoiding major criticism, but even avoiding the recognition of the situation on the spot.
Pray for those abandoned by this country. They need it.
