Joey Chestnut set a record and won the 14th championship


Joey Chestnut set a new record Won Nathan’s famous hot dog eating contest for the sixth consecutive year At the Sunday event on July 4th every year.

The defending champion gobbled up 76 Vienna sausages and buns in 10 minutes, one more than last year, and won the game for the 14th time.

Geoffrey Esper ranked second after eating 50 hot dogs and bread, and Nick Wehry ranked third after devouring 44 hot dogs and bread.

Before the game, Chestnut told ESPN that he missed his fans last year.

“I have been expecting this all year,” he was quoted as saying.

Spectators witnessed the crowning of a new women’s champion for the first time in eight years. Michelle Lesco won the event for the first time after knocking down 30 3/4 hot dogs.

Lesco of Tucson, Arizona told ESPN that winning the game for the first time was “a wonderful feeling.”

The total number of wins was much shorter than the record set last year, when she swallowed 48.5 hot dogs in 10 minutes. Sudo did not defend the title she won in the past seven years because she was expecting her first child with Werri.

Sarah Rodriguez and Larell Marie Mele finished behind Lesco after polishing 24 hot dogs and buns and 18 3/4 hot dogs and buns respectively.

At the same time, Eric “The Wasteland” Booker drank a gallon of Nathan’s lemonade in just 37 seconds and won the first drinking competition.

Booker is a native of Queens, New York. He is no stranger to competitive eating attacks. Previously, he swallowed 49 doughnuts in 8 minutes, 50 mini cheesecakes in 6 minutes, and one minute. Swallow 8.5 ounces of raw onion.
