Review – Since around 1998, I have been a multi-monitor fanatic. Whether it’s browsing the web, researching, or writing code, nothing beats screen space. Design and features
The Lepow display is a multi-function display that can be connected in two ways. The first method uses USB Type-C to connect to the device, which includes a full-featured USB Type-C port that supports power and video. The second method uses a USB-A to Type-C or Type-C cable for video power supply and Mini-HDMI input.
Lepow monitors include cables for all these connections, and even a power adapter if you need to power the monitor separately. Functionally, they work the same way.
The monitor includes a soft cover that doubles as a stand. However, I found it a bit restrictive because it can only be adjusted to one angle. The soft cover will not fall off. If you have your own stand, using your own stand will be more challenging. However, it does cover the screen well during transportation.
The IPS display panel is excellent in terms of display appearance. The 178° wide viewing angle ensures that the display can be easily read at almost any angle. The display can also be used in portrait orientation. The rear port also ensures that it can be easily used in both horizontal and vertical directions and hides the cable.
The 1080p Full HD display includes a 1000:1 contrast ratio to ensure adequate brightness. The picture is vivid and looks great. The screen does have a smooth surface, which is something I don’t care about, but I can tolerate it as a secondary display.
I don’t care if the power button is pressed. I prefer on/off click type switches. It takes a while to open it. The LED power light is located inside the device and can only be seen when viewed from the correct angle. I prefer more obvious power LEDs.

Final thoughts
In general, the Lepow 14-inch portable display is a good complement to my mobile computing strategy. The display is small enough to fit in my laptop bag, and I will definitely carry it with me.
