Passionate lover Belfast They have accepted live performances for the first time since the pandemic began.

This is the first group of spectators that this famous venue has received in 16 months.
Stormont regulations mean that a theater with a capacity of 390 people can only be seated one third, and all audiences must comply with a series of Covid mitigation measures, including wearing masks.
However, these restrictions did not curb the morale of the people. Before the performance began, there were enthusiastic cheers in the theater bar and hall, calling for people to take their seats.
The director of the show, Philip Crawford, said that everyone was very grateful so I saw the audience return to the lyrics.
“It’s great to see this building come alive again, it’s strange that we haven’t had an audience for 16 months,” he said.
“This is very exciting. We just hope we remember how to do it.”
Mr. Crawford is the head of Lyric’s creative learning. He said Monday was a nerve-wracking day because he was waiting for the Stormont Executive to give the green light again.
Tickets for the show have been scheduled and sold, and it is hoped that the rules will be changed on the opening night.
“I don’t think in our wildest dreams, we think we will get an open license 90 minutes before the show starts,” he said.
“The whole company took a day off yesterday, but I can assure you that this is not a relaxing day. From about lunch time, I think we just keep checking the website and listening.”
Wife and husband Carmel and Michael McGuigan from Belfast were among the 130 powerful audience members.
For decades, the couple have been enjoying drama in Lyric.
Mrs. McGuigan said that 16 months without a theater was “absolutely scary”.
“We really miss it,” she said.
“We have been using Lyric since 1976, and there are very few dramas we would miss.
“We are very happy to come back.”
Compared with the live audience, Bill Bannon from the north of the city said nothing.
“To be honest…it seems to be more than 16 months, like three years ago,” he said.
“It’s great to be back, it’s absolutely wonderful.
“Trust me, I’m sorry to miss it.”
