Today, a rare move shows the full partisan nature of the Special Committee of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on January 6. Pelosi Refuse to accept member proposal Committee of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. Pelosi opposed Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) from five people selected by McCarthy. Jordan has stated that he would like to ask Pelosi about the security question provided on January 6.
In response, McCarthy called all the members and issued a statement saying that unless she accepts the two members, they will not accept this “false” procedure.

Pelosi actually gave McCarthy a gift. Through her rejection of the Republican Party’s appointment, a very unusual move, she was very clear about the political significance of all this.
However, Pelosi can count on a Republican to support her partisan efforts. Rep. Liz Cheney (not a true Republican-WY) issued his own statement supporting Pelosi and attacking McCarthy, who made her stand out from the Republican leadership role.
Someone asked if Cheney “personally urged the Speaker to take this step?” She responded that she agreed with what Pelosi did, and if she supported Pelosi to do so, she would avoid answering.
