review – If you’ve ever wondered what a Dyson designer could do if they were alone, the Lupe Pure vacuum might be the answer. Lupe was founded by several former Dyson employees working to build a better Vacuum cleaner. In many ways, they have succeeded, but the Pure vacuum is different. It’s a unique machine with some interesting quirks and some nice features.
What is it?
The Lupe Pure is a cordless vacuum that competes with Dyson, Shark and other high-end vacuums. Its all-white exterior and unusual design reminds me of Eve from the Pixar movie WALL-E.
The Pure isn’t a vacuum cleaner, which sets it apart from the “me too” crowd of Dyson admirers. Pure is battery powered and cleans for about 30 minutes on normal (medium) settings. It can last 60 minutes in Eco mode or 15 minutes in Max mode.
The suction power is based on the cyclone model that is very popular in many modern vacuum cleaners. Pure incorporates what they call suction booster Keep the suction at a constant level until the battery needs to be recharged.

Design and Features
When the Lupe Pure vacuum was unboxed, it was clear that this was different. The design is modern in a retro way.Obviously, Pure is no vacuum cleaner. far away.
The vacuum puts all its power and weight close to the hands, making them top-heavy. Despite the unbalanced weight, the advantage is that it is easy to maneuver. Sticks are good at hiding under furniture and spinning around furniture and chair legs.
Ironically, the stick’s advantage is also its main disadvantage. Let me explain.
Every vacuum I’ve ever used doesn’t stand on its own.Stick vacuums when you need to move something while vacuuming Need to lean on something. Normally when I let go, the stick would fall off. Really frustrating. Pure vacuums stand on their own – what a concept!
Unlike the joystick, the Pure’s motor is closer to the base, which makes maneuvering easier — at least in theory. Vacuuming with a stick for 20 minutes or more can be tiring because your arms carry most of the vacuum’s weight. The Pure is lighter and therefore easier to hold because there is much less weight on the arms. This is a great advantage for those who are lighter or smaller. However, I never thought about supporting the weight of a stick when vacuuming. So for me, it’s not a big problem.
Setting up your Lupe Pure Cordless vacuum is easy. You just snap some parts together and turn it on — after the battery is fully charged, of course. When switching to accessories, emptying the dust box or cleaning the filter, the parts that snap together need to be removed periodically. It’s all very modular. These parts are replaceable if something breaks.
The Pure’s batteries are also replaceable, so the vacuuming time can be doubled with two batteries. The charging ports are on the battery itself – one can charge while the other is in use. It’s a simple design and not as common as it should be.
The front of the Pure contains four vertically arranged buttons: On/Off, Power Up, Power Down, and Swipe On/Off. There are three power modes: Eco (low), Normal and Max. When enabled, Pure defaults to Normal and the brush bar is open. Use your foot to press the left side of the cleaning head to tilt the unit for use. When straightened, it locks into place and stands on its own.
It’s clear that the Pure designers are responsible for how Dyson handles its attachments, as the design is similar to the original Dyson “Ball” vacuums we own. To use the attachment out of reach, the main handle needs to be disconnected from the body and attached to the hose of the vacuum head. For closer spaces, simply attach the attachment directly to the flexible and stretchable hose.
A nice feature when using the attachment is that the motor body can be disconnected from the cleaner head, so it can be carried around without the extra weight of the head. This is a major improvement over the original Dyson design. The main body of the motor will also stand independently——No Cleaner head!
The cleaning head has two rollers: a soft, padded roller that clings to the floor while picking up larger debris, and a fast-spinning brush bar. The two rollers rotate in opposite directions, directing dirt to the center of the head to be sucked into the bin. It works great on our tile floors and living room rugs. We vacuum 2 to 3 times a week, Pure still Pick up a litter box full of dog hair.
The Lupe Pure Cordless vacuum cleaner comes with two filters: a cylindrical foam filter to protect the motor and a HEPA filter to prevent dust from escaping from the vacuum during operation. Both filters are replaceable.
After vacuuming is complete, one-click release of the dust bin to empty it. Our dog dropped a lot. I have noticed that a lot of hair can get trapped at the top of the litter box and not come loose. While it’s easy to remove the filter to clear hair, it does require you to get your hands dirty. This is not a good setup for those with sensitive breathing. It might be better to use a bagged vacuum system.
what do I like

- good suction
- Long battery life (for vacuum)
- Removable battery
- Great weight distribution
- quality build
- High efficiency filter
what would i change
- Too bulky to fit under some furniture
- Replacing the filter can become a mess
final thoughts
If your focus is on vacuum cleaners, you might be disappointed with the Lupe Pure vacuum cleaner. However, many people do not need Stick design. Pure is for them. It is equally powerful (more Powerful in most cases) as any stick and its weight distribution may make it easier for some people to use. It’s not cheap, but the quality is top-notch, and it’s often reduced in price. If you think you might need some flexibility in which vacuum, go ahead and take a look at Pure. It might surprise you.
