Policemen At lunchtime on Friday, paramedics and paramedics went to a property in Polperro, Cornwall, after reports that they were worried about their well-being.
The couple, believed to be a husband and wife, were found dead in the property of a picturesque village known as one of the most beautiful villages in Cornwall.
A spokesman for the Devon and Cornwall police said: “Police and ambulance personnel arrived at the scene. A woman in her 40s and a man in her 50s were confirmed dead.
“Their close relatives have been notified. The police are currently not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
“The cordon still exists and residents can expect to see officials in the area over the weekend.”
The coroner has been notified that the police are investigating the cause of death at the house on Polperro Langecke Road.
Polpero is a large village and fishing port that attracts thousands of tourists in the summer.
