Mobile app update: more intraday reminders and…

I came back from summer vacation I just released a new version of the mobile app. It’s live broadcast Google Play Store (Android) Still awaiting review iOS App Store(Although iOS users can now get new features by launching the app, killing it and then launching it again.)

Here are the highlights of the new features:

  • You can now push intraday alerts from any stock to your device, not just the stocks in your watch list and portfolio.
  • All intraday alarm configurations introduced in the application
  • Now filter the intraday alerts within the market by the volume and price threshold of your choice
  • The stock page now has links to StockTwits (US and Canada only) and the Twitter stream for that stock
  • Improved stock symbol search
  • Format adjustment

You’ll see some new options in the “Day reminders” section:

“My Portfolio and Watch List Alerts” will take you to a list of intraday alerts specific to what you define for each portfolio and watch list.

The “Alert List” has not changed-it will take you to the list of alarm types. From there you can see the stock that triggered the selected alert. The biggest difference now is that the stocks will be filtered according to your default scanning preferences.

“My Trigger Alerts” will take you to a list of alerts triggered by any stock that matches your price and volume threshold:

If you choose to receive push notifications (in the app’s preferences, you can access through the side menu), the list contains messages that will be pushed to your mobile device.

The “Configure Alarms” button will take you to a page where you can select which alarms to track.

Please note that this page is used to alert any stocks that match your default price and volume threshold (not just the stocks in your watch list and portfolio). You can now configure alerts for each of your watchlists and portfolios in the app (you could only do it on the website before). You can do this via the “Configure intraday alerts” button on each portfolio and watch list

I hope you find the new features useful.
