If you have a child, to what extent is he or she yours?
This is an increasingly relevant issue, both culturally and legally.
And, it seems, its answer is constantly changing.
In this regard, a professor at Arizona State University has an idea.
In response to a paper Written by Melbourne Law School researcher Lauren Notini, Professor Maura Priest Journal of Medical Ethics.
The focus of controversy: transgender ethics and its use of drugs.
In Lauren’s article, she believes that the use of puberty suppressants “can be provided to non-binary adults in principle.”
because:
[Ongoing puberty suppression] It can promote the health of the patient, so it is in line with the correct goal of medicine.
As pointed out Campus reformMaura is very good at this.
However, in her view, LGBT “testimony” trumps any underlying medical opinion, no matter which way they prefer.
If the medical profession is to take LGBT testimony seriously (as they should), then the doctor’s job is no longer to weigh the costs and benefits of transition-related care.
“Assuming that the patient understands the situation and is capable,” Maura wrote, “then only the patient can be evaluated.”
[O]Only the patient can gain the true weight of the benefits associated with the transition.
If only “patients” can make this decision, what role should parents play if their children disagree with their chromosomes?
Per Maura, a very limited one.
indeed, also Winner: Mom and Dad.
Maura’s views reflect the profound evolution of the concepts of parental rights and children’s rights.
More and more children claim to have another identity.
Therefore, there must be great upheaval waiting.
Imprint of the Times: In March, a Canadian man was Arrested for misjudging the sex of his 14-year-old child Address her by her gender.
This will never happen, said those who call my position on Bill C16 alarmist.I read the law and found that it is just the opposite, it is inevitable https://t.co/zi8vB5x4x0

Different countries, but not so different personalities.
It seems that the definition of parenting is changing.
The school assumes the position of motherhood/paternity in an unprecedented way.
The pandemic has exposed many things, including parents being regarded as “outsiders” by educators:
This is something I am very worried about. My 9th grade students read and respond to a news article in each class, and our discussion is very important. But many students will not participate when they are virtual because they are afraid that outsiders will listen to them and use their words to oppose them

Joe Biden wants the children to stay in school:
The fact is that 12 years of education is no longer enough to compete in the 21st century.
This is why my “Rebuilding A Better Agenda” will ensure that everyone in the United States receives an additional four years of public education-two years of preschool education and two years of free community colleges.

The idea of parental power spreading out of the classroom is diminishing.
Consider recent videos Feature The address of the parents (partial) of Michelle Leete, Vice President of PTA Training in Virginia and Vice President of PTA Communications in Fairfax County…
- Anti-equity
- Anti-racial liquidation
- Anti-diversity
- Anti-platform
- Antivariant
- Anti-environment
- Anti-admission policy changes
- Anti-inclusion
- Anti-social justice
- Anti-LGBTQ+
She expressed the position:
“Let them die.”
In light of this, the specific category she named is particularly confusing:
- Anti-rescue people
“Let them die,” said @FairfaxNAACP Leader Michelle Little before the protest @fcpsnews board. Those who oppose critical racial theories are here, and protesters including Leete oppose them. Tonight is 🧨.Watch https://t.co/KuScNenTVQ pic.twitter.com/Csb5faEYKG

Going back to Maura’s article, the professor described a hypothetical case of “Chicago”, “non-binary patient”.
She pointed out that there is a 90% chance of suffering from osteoporosis after experiencing puberty suppression.
Nonetheless, she said, “Medical experts have dismissed, downplayed, and suspected LGBT testimony, all of which showed blatant disrespect” and constituted “priority [sic] Physical health is higher than mental health. “
According to Maura, such behavior is “morally dubious.”
So adolescence in Chicago should be closed.
We must get rid of the opposite sex to hang up:
Heterosexuality has long contributed to LGBT medical abuse. To avoid repeating the same mistakes, medicine must leave room for diverse and atypical health priorities.
So, what will guide the child whether to take medication?
One thing is certain, if the mullahs acted her way: it won’t be the parents.
Their veto power is limited:
Taking the testimony of LGBT patients seriously also means that parents should lose their veto power over most transition-related pediatric care.
I have seen many, many battles in the future of the United States.
