This question comes up a lot. What’s your favorite basic tee? They are an easy-to-wear wardrobe staple. Pair it with jeans, trousers, a sweater or a blazer. I love a classic tee and jeans with sneakers or sandals. Simple and chic, but most importantly, comfortable. As the weather warms up, whether I’m getting dressed for work or going for a walk, I’m reaching for some T-shirts. Here are some of my favorite basic tees to keep you cool all spring and summer.
(The picture above is an old model of AG. They are still available in some sizes).
ABLE Maria Boxy T-Shirt
I tried this tee on while visiting ABLE headquarters in Nashville last month and I knew it would be a spring and summer favorite. It’s made from super soft organic cotton and is available in XXS-3X options. This is a slightly boxy cut style This makes it very cute with mid-rise or high-waisted pants. It’s not too cut, so you can still tuck it in if you want. The fabric is thick enough to wear with a classic blazer or casually with jeans and sneakers. It has white and black and white stripes. I reduced it by one size. Use code JAK15 for 15% off.
Sézane Conrad T-Shirt
I still have Conrad T-Shirt I bought it a few years ago when the style just came out and it gets better with every wash. The conrad tee is made from 100% organic cotton and is loose but not baggy. It’s soft and stretchy with a crew neck and one of my favorite parts, it comes with free embroidery of up to 10 characters. I have one embroidered with “Marin”.There are many beautiful colors to choose from you want something bright, retro or classic. I have shrunk down and wear my regular size on this tee. It’s a little too big.
Amour Vert Itana Dream Ribbed T-Shirt
Looking for a style that fits? Amour Vert Ribbed T-Shirt Incredibly soft, it’s made from lightweight ribbed fabric with a scoop neck. A great tee to dress up and layer under a blazer. You can now buy multiple colors for less than $35! The size is just right.
