Never want Trump to make Biden’s “norms” both good and hard-Red State

Last night, Joe Biden and his CDC Announcing an extension “Suspend deportation”, although the Supreme Court said that any future orders are illegal.Although you can thank Brett Kavanaugh Leave that door open On the technical level, the fact remains that none of this is legal. Biden made a conscious decision to break the law and again steal the property of a person whose property has been stolen for 16 months.

Contrast this reality with the Never-Trump Task Force, who has assured us that Biden represents respect for norms and the rule of law.

Yes, how is the effect?

“He broke the law to protect you” is the kind of words you would hear in some tin pot dictatorships in South America or the Middle East. However, we are here, one of the largest news networks in the world, to promote this idea to be correct. The White House showed too many norms.

If the argument is “but Trump,” recall that Biden should be different. In respect of the system and the law, he should represent a clearer and more desirable choice than the bad orange man. This is the point of “Never Trump”. Heck, at least Trump’s suspension of deportation did not deliberately violate the court order (though, it has been disqualified at this time).

Anyway, I’m not here to emphasize that choices were made and things didn’t go the way they should be (to see details, click here and here). On the contrary, I am curious what will happen now.

Never Trump faction has now made Biden’s “norms” good and tough. The president violated his oath of office and forcibly passed an order he knew was illegal, assuming that he could get what he wanted before the court had time to stop him. In view of this, where are the calls for impeachment? Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney are staunch defenders of this principle. They condemned Biden’s actions and said that he needs to be removed. Where are they? Are we just not doing this anymore?

Let us apply the same question to people who have never been Trump who live in the right-wing commentary area. Will they stay consistent and call for impeachment on their websites and columns, or will they insist on mild reprimand as their only response on Twitter? Because if they only do the latter, they will give up what their principles are really worth.

However, I suspect that this is exactly what will happen. When faced with an opportunity to stay consistent and pursue Joe Biden’s truly despicable things in the strongest way, they back down and hedge. Why? Because in the final analysis, their movement has never been to protect norms and institutions. Rather, it exists to resist things that make them feel uncomfortable and interrupt their cocktail party. Trump happened to be the incarnation of the time. It can easily become someone else (I suspect Never DeSantis will be the same thing too).

To be sure, some people who have never been Trump will scream that Biden is so grossly unconstitutional. But at the end of the day, they blink and nod to let people know that they will not treat him like that “other”. At the same time, the cycle of corruption in Washington continues.
