Review -I thought I often use iPad Pro. Then this new system from Pitaka came out, and I quickly realized how important the positioning and accessibility of the iPad are on your desk. It is called Pita! Flow and consists of some different MagEZ accessories from Pitaka for iPad. Although its name is a bit obscure, its Flow part makes perfect sense, because your iPad may just be the center of your daily workflow.
What is it?
Pita! Flow is a modular magnetic product system for iPad Pro. It consists of Pitaka’s MagEZ stand, MagEZ case 2 and MagEZ Folio. They work together to make your iPad easily adapt to your needs.

Design and features
The Pita! Flow system consists of three parts. MagEZ Case 2, MagEZ Stand and MagEZ Folio. I will show you each of them below.
MagEZ Case 2 is made of aramid fiber, and Pitaka uses aramid fiber in almost all of its products. It is very light and strong, in this case it is thin enough to do some key things.
- Run a straight-through smart connector that can use the Apple keyboard.
- A thin metal plate is installed inside the housing to increase the magnetic holding force required for use with MagEZ Stand.
The MagEZ stand occupies very little space on your desktop and has a raised magnetic head that can bring your iPad closer to the line of sight. You can easily rotate it from horizontal to vertical, and adjust the angle with one hand, just like when you go out to remove it easily.
It also has a wireless Qi charging base, which provides additional features for the originally wasted space.

MagEZ Folio can be used with or without MagEZ Case 2, and its functions are very similar to what you expect, as shown below. The additional benefit of running MagEZ Case 2 is that if you decide to remove Folio, your iPad will be well protected. If you are running MagEZ Stand, you will want to do this.
As mentioned earlier, MagEZ Case 2 is also fully compatible with Apple’s Magic Keyboard and Smart Keyboard Cover, allowing your iPad to instantly acquire new superpowers.
In order to be compatible with these keyboards and keep it as thin as possible, Pitaka decided to keep the shell open on the hinge side. You lose a bit of protection when you are not using the keyboard or portfolio, but this compatibility is important and worth weighing. The rest of the case has raised edges, covered buttons, and minimal screen side clips to minimize everything.
The side of the volume button has been refined and is specifically used where Apple Pencil 2 needs to be charged.
set up
If you are using the entire system, the settings are as follows…
- Install the MagEZ 2 case on your iPad. Use the side of the volume buttons as a guide, then snap the top and bottom edges into place and secure them in place.
To use MagEZ Folio…
- Open Folio and place your iPad on the back, the magnet will snap it into place. MagEZ Folio can be used with or without MagEZ Case 2 on a compatible iPad.
To use the MagEZ stand…
- Insert the column into the base, and then tighten the two screws with the included hex wrench to assemble the bracket.
- Connect the USB-C cable to the bottom of the bracket and connect the other end to the power source.
- Place it on the table where you want, if you want to prevent it from moving around, please peel off the support from the 4 nanogrip feet first.
- Now, you can place the iPad equipped with the MagEZ 2 protective case in the center of the stand head and easily place it on the stand. When it finds its own home, you will feel very satisfied with the magnetic traction and the “pop” sound. Once in place, you can easily rotate or adjust the tilt.
- If you want to connect any tablet without the MagEZ 2 case, please use the included MagEZ sticker and template to position it on the center of the back of the tablet or outside the case (if you are running).
- To charge Qi compatible products on the stand base, simply place it in the center of the marked landing zone. If the charging coil in the device is not centered, you may need to move the device slightly.
Performance
I have been running cases on the iPad. Too scared to fumble, this is one of the reasons why Apple’s keyboard solution makes me a little uneasy, because there are many times I don’t want to open the keyboard. MagEZ Case 2 directly solves these problems while adding new functions. It’s thin enough, you won’t forget how thin the iPad Pro is. It provides enough protection to ensure that my iPad can survive the disasters I know will happen in the future.
Pitaka sells each product in the Pita! Flow system separately (at least for the latest iPad Pro), so if you use one of the above keyboards, you don’t need to change anything else in the settings to give you peace of mind.
However, in my opinion, the core is MagEZ Stand. After setting up, you will get a Qi charging platform, and your iPad will have a new home on your desk. I can describe how good this is in words, but it is easier to show you.
If you have ever used Apple’s Magic Keyboard, you will know that it is very suitable for use as a keyboard and an adjustable horizontal stand. When you just want to hold the iPad or use it in portrait mode, you will also realize its limitations. When you don’t need a keyboard, MagEZ Folio can provide protection and fixation at the same time, while MagEZ Stand can greatly improve everything else on your desktop.
To make the most of you need a keyboard and mouse that supports multiple devices. In this way, with just a few keystrokes, perhaps by pressing a button on the mouse, you can quickly switch and drive the iPad. I find it very useful to isolate one or two applications to the iPad, allowing me to focus on tasks on the computer. Facetime and other video chat applications run better on the iPad, especially with the new center stage feature to keep you in the frame.
If you really want to use the included magnetic sticker directly on your tablet, tablet case, or other products (mobile phone, small whiteboard, etc.), please make sure to use the included template to help the board center (if you want to rotate it clean) and you want The weight of anything installed is less than the 12.9-inch iPad in MagEZ Case 2. You also need to make sure that the surface is clean and free of texture.
Two key things to pay attention to.
- MagEZ Stand will not charge your iPad. For this, you need to bring your own cable. This is a bummer, but understandable, because you can indeed use any tablet with a stand with a sticky magnet plate, so connector compatibility comes into play.
- The open side of MagEZ Case 2 has several half-pointed corners. If you play games on the iPad or hold the iPad horizontally for a long time, they can be inserted into your fingers or palm.
Pitaka also pays attention to details. In this case, there is a magnet in the cavity under the bracket, so you can keep the hex wrench at hand, which is a trivial matter.

Final thoughts
As far as I am concerned, Pitaka is very popular here. The magic is the MagEZ Stand and its use with MagEZ Case 2, especially when you use the Apple Magic Keyboard. It’s great to be able to seamlessly remove the iPad from the Magic Keyboard and snap it to the desktop stand to start working. Being able to rotate from landscape to portrait, adjust the angle, use Sidecar or make Facetime calls, you can immediately eliminate any worries about desktop space. Leave this on my table.
