“Thanks to God’s grace and the efforts of many people, we now have a vaccine to protect us from Covid-19,” the Pope said in a video message released on behalf of the U.S. non-profit organization Advertising Committee and the public, the Health Alliance Covid Collaborative.
“They give us hope of ending the pandemic, but only if everyone can use them and we work together.”
Pope Francis himself was vaccinated in March, when he said it was a moral obligation.
“Vaccination is a simple and profound way to promote common interests and mutual care, especially for the most disadvantaged groups. I pray to God that everyone can contribute their own grain of sand, their own little love gesture,” The Pope said in his latest video message.
