Realme began to hype about its latest flagship phone. Although this phone has not yet been officially released, they have held a press conference to announce several unique key features.
Realme has confirmed that GT 2 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is a given.
However, they also announced that the phone will have:
- Bio-based design (made of pulp and other biodegradable materials)
- 150° ultra-wide-angle camera
- Fisheye camera
- Main paper design
- 360°Near Field Communication
- Environmentally friendly packaging design
- Ultra-wideband antenna
The previous leak confirmed its design and indicated that the phone may be equipped with an under-display camera, a QHD+ screen, and up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of onboard storage.
Early leaks also showed that the phone scored incredibly high on Antutu, successfully defeating Tianwei 9000 SoC scores have also been leaked recently.
The new camera specifications are very interesting, and it seems that Realme is trying to provide something different instead of trying to compete with the big players in the game by using standard camera settings.
Most ultra-wide-angle lenses are around 120°, so the new 150° lens will capture a wider angle.
The fisheye camera provides some impressive results, but it may eventually fall into Realme’s gimmick feature. It all depends on the quality of the lens.
Unfortunately, there are no signs of when this phone will be launched.I checked the original text Realme GT Back in June, but I hope this early announcement indicates that GT 2 will be launched earlier this year.
