According to reports Boston GlobeProvidence, Rhode Island, will pay Roger Williams University up to $99,196 in fees to move towards the final compensatory redistribution of black and American Indian residents.
According to the Globe, the school’s job is to “supervise community outreach work, which includes identifying stakeholders, formulating key compensation targets, and establishing a framework for the future stages of the plan by the end of the year.”
In the written agreement, the “Providence Cultural Equity Initiative” was listed as a subcontractor.
Under “Project Discussion”, the “Providence City African American Ambassador Group (AAAG) Settlement Procedure” was designated.
