The allegations involved Navarrete’s alleged misconduct or sexual acts on the boy five times, starting at the age of 12-13 and continuing until he was 15 years old. The boy said that due to abuse, he now suffers from anxiety and anger problems.
The boy’s 13-year-old brother said that Navarrete tried to touch his thigh but was repelled by his hand.
Navarrete was arrested during a phone call with one of his brothers and was monitored by the police.
According to documents released by the Maricopa County High Court, in the recorded calls monitored by the police, the 35-year-old Navarrete admitted to touching the victim’s penis several times and performing oral sex on the young man many times over the years.
Navarrete told the young man that he regretted his actions and knew that they were wrong, and repeatedly told the young man that the young man was not at fault in any interaction.
“Of course, I feel sorry for any bad behavior I did, and I absolutely hope that everything can be different. Sorry, Miccio,” Navarrete said on the phone. It seems that he didn’t know that the police were monitoring.
