I mean that. The “stupid” part.it is almost It’s like left-wing players sitting together all day trying to raise other things Call it “racist”-of course, this is the fault of “white supremacy”. But now, the mayor of Salt Lake and the seven members of the city council have taken it to the next level-passed a joint resolution to take stupidity one step further-declaring that “racism” itself is “Public health crisis. “

A kind Press release On Tuesday, Mayor Erin Mendenhall’s office wrote:
The resolution declaring racism as a public health crisis was originally proposed to New York City by a group of community leaders engaged in or dedicated to health-related occupations. The resolution was reviewed and approved by the New York City Human Rights League and the Race Committee. Fairness in policing.
“This is an important statement we made as a city,” Mendenhall said, as quoted in the press release. “Not only do we publicly acknowledge that many people in our community have known and experienced severe inequality for a long time, but we are also committed to formulating anti-racism policies and regulations.”
Ok. But the “public health crisis”? From the release:
Racism directly affects access to many daily resources, including education, housing, employment, and healthcare. As we all know, the cascade effect will have a negative impact on physical and mental health.
During the pandemic, the impact of racism on public health and the heavy burden on New York City’s communities of color have been well documented.
At the height of the pandemic, Glendale’s infection rate was three times higher, and Rose Park’s infection rate was twice as high, where there was a high percentage of Latino and non-white residents.
In addition, Latino communities account for 14.2% of Utah’s population, but account for 40% of COVID-19 cases in the state. The American Indian and Alaska Native communities in Utah have a case fatality rate that is approximately three times the state’s average.
I understand. So, is “systemic racism”-the product of “white supremacy”-the cause of the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on the minority communities in Salt Lake City? [rolling-eyes emoji]
According to the press release, Amy Fowler, chairman of the city council, said: “There is no doubt that this crisis exists.” “Our society is burdened with prejudice and all the hatred that comes with it. In fact, Combating all forms of racism, discrimination and inequality is a moral imperative.”

What about the declaration itself? The mayor and seven city council members announced what actions they would take in response to the “public health crisis” of “racism”?by declaration:
however, Racism is a serious public health threat, because racism-whether it is interpersonal or structural-has been proven to [sic] The physical and mental health of communities of color; racism has been declared as a public health crisis that directly affects Salt Lake City residents, leading to measurable and preventable health disparities; the result of these structural inequalities can be through increased exposure to environmental toxins and housing demand Unsatisfied, differences in the police and criminal justice systems, insufficient private and public investment, reduced access to education and employment opportunities, and multiple health measures […].
with?
Now, so solve: As a local municipality, we declare that racism is a moral and public health crisis for our city, state, and country, and reaffirm our commitment to the principles of the Utah Race Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Contract.
This is my favorite part-the “this is what we are going to do” part. When reading, count, 1: specific actions, 2: measurable goals.
Whether to solve it further: We are committed to look inward and outward, and encourage all those who live, work, and own businesses in our cities to commit to the work needed to eliminate the legacy of racism and to restore our communities fairly.
We are committed to seeking strategies and solutions for unfair institutions in society, businesses, governments, and culture to improve the health and lives of all people of color in Salt Lake City.
As we continue to work, we will continue to criticize our policies and regulations to ensure that they do not exacerbate inequality and work to eliminate the damage caused over the years.
Can you count “zero” and “zero”? me too.

This is the best practice of the left in vain. It can be said that the sign is higher than the substance. The concept of pretending to be systematic racism in the hands of “white supremacy” America is foolish enough. But drafting a meaningless declaration, with almost no substance, promising that those who wrote it did not do anything concrete, and did not provide indicators to measure the success of their nothingness? please.
