A senior police chief will be appointed to combat violence against women and girls as part of the crackdownMurder Sarah Everard.

Mr. Cowsons Ms. Everard, the 33-year-old marketing executive, kidnapped her when she was walking home from a friend’s house in Clapham on March 3.

Couzens, an armed officer protecting royal family members and diplomats, used a rented car to kidnap Ms. Everard and dumped her body in a bag normally used for construction waste.
