Sephora’s new eco-friendly beauty category (and two favorite products)

I am really happy to share a new category of environmentally friendly products at Sephora.this is Sephora Clean + Planet Positive Seal, To award eco-conscious brands that meet the specific pillars of the plan.I want to share some key criteria for eligibility for the brand and two of my favorite Sephora cleaning products Clean + positive planetary sealIt is worth mentioning that these brands do not claim to be perfect, but through these key pillars, they are working hard to reduce the harm to the planet.

This article is part of my 2021 #SephoraSquad partnership. Thanks for supporting my brand!

The 5 key pillars of SEPHORA Clean + Planet Positive Seal

  • Cleaning ingredients-Sephora’s cleaning means that its brand products do not contain phthalates, formaldehyde or formaldehyde release agents, oxybenzone and octoxylate, hydroquinone, triclosan, coal tar, etc.
  • Responsible packaging-This means that the brand considers recyclability when designing its packaging. Innovate through refillable components, post-consumer recycled content (PCR), biological materials, plant-based inks, and more.
  • Sustainable sourcing-cruelty-free, only sustainably harvested palm oil and mica are used, without microplastics.
  • Climate Commitment-Brands must meet at least one of the following climate goals: carbon neutral operations, greenhouse gas reduction or corporate offices, and self-owned or leased operations powered by 100% renewable energy.
  • Environmental donation-Brands must donate at least 1% of their profits to a long-term, high-impact, long-term donation program that has been continuous for many years, or a certified Type B company.

Two favorite skin care products Clean + positive planetary seal

One of my favorite skin care brands with Sephora Clean + Planet Positive Seal is Biossance. They are known for their marine conservation work and for creating cruelty-free products. Since the 16th century, sharks have been hunted for their squalene. Biossance scientists have created a renewable sugarcane-derived version called squalane that can save 2 million sharks every year. Two of my favorite Biossance products that I often use in skincare routines are Squalane + 10% Lactic Acid Renewing Night Cream and Squalane + Seaweed Eye Cream.

Squalane + 10% Lactic Acid Renewing Night Cream

I use This serum Several nights a week to get incredible overnight results. The serum gently exfoliates the skin without irritating my dry and sometimes sensitive skin. My skin looked glowing and hydrated the next morning. It is formulated with powerful vegan 10% lactic acid and sustainable source squalane to provide light hydration and help lock in moisture. I like to use it under a creamy moisturizer.I really like Clean + Planet Positive Seal. A great place is Youth to people Superfood Air-Whip moisturizing cream with hyaluronic acid.

Squalane + Seaweed Eye Cream

this is mine Go eye crelectronicYes in the evening. It is rich and creamy, incredibly moisturizing. It is perfect for my super dry skin, and the seaweed peptide complex helps to target the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. Of course, I also like that it is cruelty-free, vegan, and contains no synthetic fragrances. Similar to the serum, it also contains moisturizing, sustainable source squalane.
