In the sixth game of the Washington Nationals tonight, gunfire suddenly came from outside the third base. This caused the players to run out of the field and the fans panicked towards the exit of the National Park. The incident happened around 9:30 pm local time, and you can hear gunshots during the game.

The frightened fans didn’t know what to do, some tried to hide.

According to reports, four people were shot in the 1500 block of Southwest Capitol Street, and then two more were admitted to the hospital for gunshot wounds. According to WJLA.

The police are investigating and do not believe there are any further threats.
The Washington Nationals said in a statement that the game has been suspended and will continue tomorrow.
