Review – When the iPhone with MagSafe charging function was launched last year, there was only one clear case with MagSafe-Apple’s. I found that the box was very slippery and the buttons were difficult to press. In the end, some “unknown” brand cases gradually flowed into the market. I tried it, and the results were disappointing. A few months later, I stuck my toe into a transparent box containing Magsafe, one of the biggest names in the mobile device industry, Speck.
what is it?
The Presidio Perfect-Clear case not only has magnets that can be used with Magsafe, but it is also designed to prevent drops of up to 13 feet. It also has anti-yellowing plastic that has been treated with Microban to reduce bacterial growth.
Design and features
The box itself is very smart. The label at the bottom allows you to slide the box out to reach the case.
The entire case itself is very clear. You can hardly see the magnet behind the white “Q”.
After a short squeeze, I managed to squeeze my iPhone 12 Pro into the case. This is a bit harder than average-I suspect this is because the case is strong, although it is clear. Please note that the screen is protected by a raised frame. The same is true for the camera (rear).
The clear case does hide the fact that this is a pretty powerful case. This is not some thin shell. There is some truth to this case.
To verify my feelings, I measured the width. The Presidio Perfect-Clear case has a total width of 6.45 mm, or approximately 3.23 mm on each side. The increase doesn’t sound like much, but if you like ultra-thin enclosures, you might want to look elsewhere.
