  • fruit – I used frozen bananas, kiwis, mangoes, and oranges in this smoothie, but you can totally use other fruits like pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, or apples.   • milk – I prefer to make my own unsweetened almond milkbut you can use store bought almond milk, coconut milk (carton or can), hemp milkor regular milk.

  • freeze: If you want to be successful, a refrigerator is your best bet. Pour spinach smoothies into freezable containers such as ice cube trays, zip lock bags, or mason jars (leave at least 1 inch of space at the top) and keep frozen. Thaw overnight, stirring or shaking (or blending) if liquid separates.
