San Francisco Chronicle sports reporter Susan Slusser (Susan Slusser), after doing the same thing for the Oakland A team for many years, began reporting on the San Francisco Giants this year. After the game between the Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers last night, Someone struck up a conversation on the way to her car. A group of Dodgers fans saw the incident and interceded on her behalf and escorted her to her car safely.
Now a big fan of the Dodgers. The big drunk man walked to the parking lot to strike up a conversation. It was very threatening. A group of Los Angeles fans surrounded me and took me to my car to keep him away. Thank you everyone. That is terrible.

Slusser is a veteran sports journalist and one of the best in the industry. She is an old-school pure reporter, keeping her own opinions in every story, no matter what they are. Instead, she only focuses on facts, athletes and team members (front desk, etc.), especially the game itself. Slusser added that this issue has nothing to do with the fierce competition between the Giants and the Dodgers, because the perpetrators obviously have nothing to do with either side. Instead, he is one of many mental health victims/problems in San Francisco:
I think this is the problem. I don’t think this is a problem for Giants fans/Dodgers fans. I think he is either homeless and/or taking drugs, or mentally unstable.

The incident highlighted a growing problem in San Francisco and many major cities across the country, namely, the complete failure to properly address the mental health problems that cause most of the homelessness problems. The city refuses to protect, let alone prioritize, Its own residents‘Life and property.It doesn’t want Accept your failure, But continue to pursue politics and policies that have been repeatedly proven to be completely ineffective. San Francisco stubbornly refuses to accept that many homeless people need to be taken off the street, if necessary, forcibly taken away, and stay in medication/mental care facilities until they can re-enter society and no longer pose a threat to themselves and others In other words, it directly leads to events such as what happened last night.
