Spring Blossoms | Dawn and Hope

Dear readers, spring is my favorite season! Although I live in Texas where there are no traditional four seasons and we miss snow, spring is also the best time here. For many places on the planet, spring is the end of a dreary, cold winter and a new beginning. My blog’s tagline is that every day is a new beginning, this is the perfect post to remind everyone that no matter what happens, life never stops, new seasons come and there will always be a new day and a new Start.

introduce

Spring is in full swing! In the United States and throughout the Northern Hemisphere, spring officially begins on March 20 and ends on June 21. It’s three months out of 12 and it’s so vibrant, refreshing, green, blooming and colorful. As daylight increases, our brain activity also improves, and people feel more positive, healthy and hopeful.

For many, it’s the end of winter, so people are looking forward to spending more time outdoors. As the length of the day increases, it feels like more time at hand. Whether it’s pursuing a hobby, starting a physical activity, or having more time to socialize, people feel happier and more comfortable with an extra day in their hands.

my experience

Gardening is something I really enjoy, and spring is when I plant new seeds for flowers and vegetables. I definitely don’t have a green thumb, but I don’t give up easily, persistence pays off. Every year I get some new growth from planting something and seeing new shoots, flowers, sprouts or vegetables makes me happy and happy. Below are some photos of my gardening work over the years.

For me, spring also brings my husband and brother’s birthdays, and brings our anniversaries and seniors’ birthdays closer, both in June. In fact, all of our special occasions fall between March and August! There is no better joy and happiness than sharing these special occasions with family and friends. As an educator, a week of spring break is a bonus. I love, love spring. Needless to say, spring is something I have been looking forward to and enjoying.

Here are 5 reasons why I love spring:

Gives me more time to get work done as our dinner time is also a bit longer. No one goes to work or comes back from work in the dark. Have the time and energy to be outdoors on weekends. Walking and hiking are the most important.

With one birthday in March, one in April, another birthday and our wedding anniversary in June, spring through summer are special days in our family.

Luckily, working in the education industry, the week of spring break in March is the perfect time to relax, rest, and rejuvenate. The summer vacation is also getting closer, starting from the beginning of June or the end of May and lasting more than 2 months.

Being able to pursue my gardening hobby gives me joy and a purpose to look forward to. Also, I love doing any yard work including weeding, watering and mulching.

Spring is also the time when we look forward to and start planning our summer vacation. While I believe in living in the moment, I can’t help but feel excited, hopeful and enthusiastic about where our summer trip will take us.
